The Speed Twin 900 offers modern ride-assist tech encased within a retro-inspired shell; taking the best of both worlds to create an instant modern classic. A member of the Chrome Collection, this Speed Twin is painted in iconic Red Hopper, with chrome surfaces where the tank pads are normally located. This '23 Speed Twin is sure to turn heads, either from the distinct note of the classic British twin, or from the gleaming bodywork.
The Speed Twin is powered by a "High Torque" 900cc parallel twin, putting down an impressive peak torque of 80Nm. The Twin is quick when lifting out of bends, and has a surprising amount of mid-range capability for it's size. To help maintain the Speed Twin's torque delivery, Triumph has fitted the bike with a torque-assist clutch, ensuring gear changes remain smooth and reducing the likelihood of unexpected bursts of torque when moving up through the 5-speed box. The Speed Twin is also A2 compliant when fitted with the appropriate restrictor kit, and is an ideal first 'big bike' for those searching for fun, torque rich bike with a touch of flair.
In terms of rider-aids and tech, the Speed Twin certainly does not fall short. Featuring a multi-function LCD within the bike's analogue speedometer, the Speed Twin has two riding modes, switchable traction control and ABS - alongside LED rear lighting, an underseat USB charger and an immobiliser as standard.
