West Coast Harley-Davidson and Triumph have a rare opportunity open in our award winning Dealerships for a Seasonal Motorcycle Detailer to join our team. We are seeking a conscientious individual with an keen eye to detail our premium motorcycles to the highest standards ready for our customers and stunning showroom. This position is available now until September (approx. 4 months)
A Day in the life of a Motorcycle Detailer:
- Work within our busy Valeting team to assess the condition of the Motorcycle in order to give it the best finish
- Clean, detail and polish all new and used motorcycles
- Utilise the best in-house products in order to complete the best finish to the motorcycle
- Feedback to the sales team any hidden defects
- Maintain detailing space/bay to a smart organised condition, keeping equipment and tools clean and tidy
- Work to agreed timescales
The Successful Motorcycle Detailer must have:
- Great work ethic, keen to assist and unafraid to ask questions
- Excellent time keeping skills
- A good eye for detail
- Ability to proactively work in a team
- Must aged 18+ with a full drivers licence – preferably a full motorcycle licence
About the environment of the Motorcycle Detailer:
- The Valet/Detailing bays are in a dedicated space so noise levels may be higher than normal
- The role involves working near and around moving mechanical parts and sometimes hot surfaces
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Frequently required to manoeuvre, balance and push a range of motorcycles
